Kakejiku, which are referred to as "hanging scroll", is a Japanese scroll painting or calligraphy laborious mounted
with silk fabric and flexible backing paper so that it can be rolled for storage.
It is traditionally displayed in the "tokonoma (alcove)" and compliments the flower arrangement.
Kakejiku are changed according to events, season and special occasions.
Nowadays, kakejiku can beautifully harmonize and accent a Western style home.
